Roblox improvements through years and launch of my game RUNBLOX.
Roblox is a massively multiplayer online video game and game creation system that allows users to design their own games and play a wide variety of different types of games created by other users.
I have started my first play on Roblox in 2014 so it’s been 6 years from now since I am writing this story in 2020. Roblox has been improving and improving through all of these years on many things: graphics, physics, logo design, builders club plus TIXs has been removed and so on. The main thing is that Roblox Studio became an easy and fast software to create a 3D game by now with astonishing graphics.
When I was 13 years old I created a game on Roblox which (was similar to a popular game which was active at the time [Roblox Top Model]) achieved 230k+ visits and I was, of course, proud on that and even that I am from Slovenia but never mind. I created the whole game by free models which were on the toolbox section by just dragging and pasting models inside of workspace but I did teach myself how to script by watching YouTube videos.
Years were passing by and I always wanted to create a professional Roblox game. Today Roblox has improved and it requires a lot of new scripting and creating a MeshParts in ‘Blender’ by yourself to create a famous game.
I have started my game in 2018 and I am still working on it pretty much alone with a french friend which helps me build things but I do script everything. So what is my game name going to be called? It’s going to be called RUNBLOX.
Runblox is a game in which players are competing for the best place in some kind of a speed run game, meanwhile, there is a slow run mode as well. Players also try to avoid obstacles while competing. Obstacles are created by players with their equipped perks or by the server. While players are getting more and more wins they achieve new worlds and receive money for trails and perks which can be used once the competition starts.
My plan is to launch this game around July in 2020 and I am hoping for my best. I hope that this game is going to get popular. I am also writing a book about Roblox Studio and basic scripting in it. I already did a cover but it’s going to take time to end a book which I don’t know the date of release yet. Here is a cover of my book:
I am still planning to do more in future since I am only 16 years old. I am probably going to attend Roblox Developers Conference 2020 if I get invited of course else not but I hope for my best. My best advice is to stay creative everyone!
